Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the RMLive app and its services ("RMLive", "we") collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. RMLive is only for people aged 18 and over.

Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign up with email we receive your email address. When you sign in with Google or Apple we receive the email address, name and profile photo that provider shares. Sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication.
• Profile information. Your display name, profile photo, bio, gender, country and date of birth (to confirm you are 18 or older).
• Content you create. Posts, comments, chat messages, photos, videos and voice messages you send, and the audio and video of lives, audio rooms and calls you take part in. Lives and calls are sent in real time and are not recorded by us.
• Activity. Follows, blocks, gifts you send and receive, store items, levels, gem balance and transactions, in-app purchases, and reports you submit.
• Payout details. If you are a host who requests a withdrawal, the payout method, account name and account number you provide.
• Device and technical data. A random install identifier created by the app, your push notification token, app version, IP address and device/browser type for each signed-in session, and crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) that include your user ID.

We do not collect your location, contacts, SMS or call logs. Ads are shown only with your consent; with it, our ad provider (Google AdMob) may use your device's advertising ID. The app asks for camera and microphone access only when you start a live, a call or a voice message, and for notification permission to send you alerts.

How we use it

• To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
• To provide lives, audio rooms, calls, chat, the feed, gifts, the store and levels.
• To send notifications you can turn off in Me → Notifications.
• To keep the community safe: reviewing reports, enforcing our Community Guidelines and blocking under-18 users.
• To process host withdrawals and keep financial records.
• To fix crashes and improve performance.

What other people can see

Your display name, profile photo, ID, level, bio, followers and your public posts, comments, lives and messages in rooms are visible to other users. Chat messages are visible to the people in the conversation.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers that run the service for us: Google Firebase (sign-in, push notifications, crash reports), Google Play and the App Store (purchases), Google AdMob (ads, only with your consent), game providers inside the app, our cloud hosting, media storage and real-time audio/video infrastructure.
• Agencies you belong to as a host, which see your hosting statistics and earnings.
• Authorities when required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

Security and retention

All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account we delete or anonymise your personal information as described on the account deletion page. Financial records (gem transactions, gifts and withdrawals) are kept, without your name or contact details, for as long as the law requires.

Your choices

• Edit your profile at any time in Me → Edit profile.
• Turn notifications off in the app or in your phone settings.
• Block or report any user, post, comment, message or live.
• Delete your account in Me → Delete account, or see how to delete your account.

Children

RMLive is not for anyone under 18. By signing in you confirm that you are 18 or older, and we close accounts we find belong to people under 18. If you believe a child is using RMLive, report the account in the app or email [email protected].
